Part 3

So this is part 3 - two more from my vaults. This ought to hold you off until this weekend and the final two 45's from this batch. Enjoy!

The first 45 is a real monster - "Camp Road Skanking" by Junior Delgado with I-Roy. This is one of those 45's where the label could be reversed but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it's two versions of the same song. Nonetheless an all time favorite of mine. I won't ramble on about it - listen and see why for yourself!

In keeping with the name Junior - here's another one - "Long Way" by Junior Byles. Produced and written with Lee Perry it's one of his best tracks. This is the US pressing on Clocktower you would think would be much nicer than the JA press on Orchid - but with nary a mark on the vinyl it still has some sound issues, but nevertheless it can't detract from how great this song is. Apparently in the mid 70's Junior had some pretty major mental issues which is a shame - it always happens to the best. "We walk the streets and highways where kung-fu is afraid to go". So beast!
